Reflection 2/7/12

Today I accomplished to continue and almost finish with the investigation part. I still need to finish the design specification and design brief from the investigation process. I will try to come during lunch or intervention to finish it and turn it in today. I have been a thinker because I have been working really hard on my investigation and have been comparing them to see which is the one that will help me better. I am working really hard on it because this will be for a summative grade and we will be turning it in in pieces. Based on criteria F I give myself a 5 because I got to advance a lot and accomplished to almost be done. I still need to work on it and be done by today.

Relflection 2/3

Today we got to continue working on the investigation process. Today, I got to choose which tool I am going to use in order to explain the learner profile of risk taker. Today I got to be a more balanced person and be able to see the different types of tools I had and decide. I decided to make a storybook using Smile Box because it its easier to use. Based on Criterion F, I give myself a 5 because I got to continue working good.

Reflection 2/1/12

Today I continued to work in the investigation part. I went into different websites to do research on them and find which one would help me the most on showing the new students the learner profile of risk taker. Those sources will help me create a storybook that easily explains what the learner profile is all about. I want to be more of a balanced person to be able to keep the work in order and turn everything in on time. In my attitudes in technology I give myself a 5, bases on criteria F, because I worked good in my project and was able to look more in depth of the sources I would like to use. I still need to do the checklist bases on the websites and decide which one i'm going to use.

Today I completed the MYP Tech pre- assessment and I scored a 69. If I had taken this the first day I would have scored a 49 because we barely learned the Design Cycle last week. When I take the final EOC Exam that will be summative and will be worth 605 of my grade and I would like to score a 90. During class I will really pay attention to the lectures and ask questions if I need to. I will try and get all my work done in class and practice win a million every time we come in. By doing all of these things I want to be able to reach my goal, and also by being a really balanced person.

INVESTIGATION- RISK TAKERS

Today I learned of an example of how our project is supposed to look. Also, we got to see the dates of the calendar and when everything is due. I want to create a video to explain my learner profile. Two of the sources I found were vuvox and smileybox. Both of the sources look good but I need to do more research on them to see which one would work out better.
